Dr Ngema : BchD, MchD Ortho (UWC)
- My name is Maureen Nkosazana Ngema, also known as Khosi. I am originally from Umlazi in Kwa-Zulu Natal but now based in Gauteng. I matriculated at Vukuzakhe High School in Umlazi in 1992 and obtained both my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in dentistry, at the University of the Western Cape in 1999 and 2012 respectively. I worked in Tembisa and Benoni as a dentist from 1999 to 2004, then left for Limpopo Department of Health, where I worked in Polokwane/Mankweng Hospital Complex from 2004 till 2006.
- I was then accepted as an Orthodontic Registrar at the University of the Western Cape, where I did my Masters in Orthodontics from 2007 till 2011. I then worked for Limpopo Department of Health from 2012 till June 2015. I resigned and focused on building up my own private practices. My practices are based in Johannesburg (Gauteng): Alberton, Cresta, and Midrand.
- My passion and main desire in life is to see the youth succeeding and developing themselves to becoming what they are destined to become, through mentorship, guidance and every support possible. When the youth prospers, the nation prospers.
